.AU Service Change Notice

On March 1, 2017, HEXONET will be partnering with a new provider for .AU domain names.  This switch will resolve the various issues we have had with .AU and will only affect resellers minimally:

.AU Domain Trades:

• Changes for Reseller:  Reseller will need to provide a link to a PDF at domainform.net when executing a trade.
• Change for Registrant:  Registrants (losing and gaining) need to print & sign a trade form and then either fax or email to us for processing (a NEUTRAL email address will be provided).

.AU Domain Transfers:

• Changes for Reseller:  No Change
• Changes for Registrant: MINOR content changes on confirmation email and the respective online form will have a different registrar name.

More details on the change of .AU services will be provided in a dedicated email and updates to our wiki in the first two weeks of February.

Update on .TRAVEL - Change in Registration Policies

Now in its 10th anniversary, the .TRAVEL top level domain is available to everyone! Following a new agreement with ICANN, the previous rules and restrictions for .TRAVEL no longer apply. From travel startup companies to travel content providers, anyone who provides or plans to provide services, products or content related to the travel industry can obtain their own .TRAVEL domain name.  Resellers wishing to resell .TRAVEL must read, comply and implement some additional domain name registration requirements. Minds + Machines: Change in Premium Name Renewal Pricing for Select TLDs

Registry operator Minds + Machines has announced that all premium names registered as of 5 January 2017 (16:00 UTC) for the listed TLDs below will renew at their respective standard rates going forward.
 
* Premium domains registered prior to 15:59 UTC on 5 January 2017, will continue to renew at their existing premium renewal rates.

.NET Price Increase - February 1, 2017

Verisign announced a price increase to the annual price of .NET domains starting February 1, 2017.

• .NET Prices: increasing by 0.89* (net price: 0.75) USD per Domain/Year.
• HEXONET recommends renewing any domains ahead of this price increase.   

.BIZ Price Increase - March 6, 2017

Neustar announced a price increase to the annual price of .BIZ domains starting March 6, 2017.

• .BIZ Prices: increasing by 1.13* (net price: 0.95) USD per Domain/Year.
• HEXONET recommends renewing any domains ahead of this price increase.    

.INFO Price Increase - July 1, 2017

Afilias announced a price increase to the annual price of .INFO domains starting July 1, 2017.

• .INFO Prices: increasing by 1.06* (net price: 0.89) USD per Domain/Year.
• HEXONET recommends renewing any domains ahead of this price increase.
